"When Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them." (Matthew 14:14).
Often, in the gospels, we read of the compassion of Christ, the God manifested in the flesh. The word compassion that is used to describe the way He felt, is a very remarkable one for it expresses the deepest emotion that Jesus felt deep within Himself every time He was confronted with whatever needs people had. One day Jesus asked: Should you not also have had compassion?
